SBI CIRCLE BASED OFFICER EXAMINATION PATTERN 2023

The SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) 2023 selection process consists of three stages:

• Online Test
• Screening
• Interview

1) SBI CBO ONLINE TEST PATTERN 2023

1. The SBI CBO 2023 online test pattern consists of two parts: Objective Test and Descriptive Test.

2. The Objective Test is further divided into four sections, which are as follows:

• English Language
• Banking Knowledge
• General Awareness/Economy
• Computer Aptitude

3. The total marks for the Objective Test are 120.

4. The total marks for the Descriptive Test (comprising Letter Writing and Essay Writing) are 50. 5. The duration of the Objective Test is 2 hours, and the duration of the Descriptive Test is 30 minutes

Marking Scheme

• Each correct answer in the Objective Test carries 1 mark.
• There is no negative marking for unattempted questions in the Objective Test.
• There is no negative marking for wrong answers marked in Objective Tests.
• Each correct answer in the Descriptive Test carries the specified marks.
• There is no negative marking for incorrect answers in the Descriptive Test.

2) SBI CBO SCREENING 2023

The screening process in SBI CBO 2023 exam is the second stage of the selection process. After the online test, the online application and documents of candidates who qualify in the online test will be placed before the Screening Committee to examine whether the candidates fulfill the required eligibility criteria of experience. The bank will constitute a shortlisting committee that will decide the shortlisting parameters. The same committee will also decide the number of candidates to be shortlisted in the screening round and be called for an interview. Candidates who pass the screening stage will be called for an interview

3) SBI CBO INTERVIEW 2023

The interview in the SBI CBO 2023 exam consists of 50 marks, and candidates have to score the minimum qualifying marks to be considered for the final selection. The interview is the third and nearly final process of the selection, and candidates need to clear both the written test and interview separately.

SBI CBO FINAL SELECTION 2023

The final selection in the SBI CBO 2023 exam is determined based on the combined performance of the candidates in the Online Test and Interview stages. The weightage for each stage is as follows:

• Online Test: 75%
• Interview: 25%

The final merit list is prepared by normalizing the marks obtained in the Online Test and Interview and then calculating the weighted average. The candidates who secure the highest positions in the final merit list will be selected for the post of SBI CBO.
