The online test is divided into two parts- Objective Test and Descriptive Test. The SBI CBO recruitment 2023 notification has been released on November 21, 2023, and the application process will start from November 22, 2023, to December 12, 2023. The exam is scheduled to be held on January 29, 2024.

SBI CIRCLE BASED OFFICER ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2023

1) SBI CBO Age Limit- The age limit for the SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) 2023 exam is as follows:

• The minimum age limit is 21 years.
• The maximum age limit is 30 years as on 31.10.2023 i.e. candidates must have been born not later than 31.10.2002 and not earlier than 01.11.1993 (both days inclusive).

There is also age relaxation for candidates belonging to certain categories. The SBI CBO age relaxation for various categories is mentioned below:

• Scheduled Castes (SC): 5 years
• Scheduled Tribes (ST): 5 years
• Other Backward Classes (OBC) - Non-creamy layer: 3 years
• Person with Disability (PWD) (SC/ST): 15 years
• Person with Disability (PWD) (OBC): 13 years
• Person with Disability (PWD) (General/EWS): 10 years
• Eligible - Ex Servicemen, Commissioned officers including Emergency Commissioned Officers (ECOs)/ Short Service Commissioned Officers (SSCOs) who have rendered 5 years military service and have been released on completion of assignment (including those whose assignment is due to be completed within 6 months from the last date of receipt of application) otherwise than by way of dismissal or discharge on account of misconduct or inefficiency or physical disability attributable to military service or invalided : 5 years

2) SBI CBO Educational Qualification – The educational qualification for the SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) 2023 exam is as follows:

Candidates must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognized university or have any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.

3) SBI CBO Work Experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification ) –

The SBI Circle Based Officer (SBI CBO) 2023 exam requires candidates to have a minimum of 2 years' experience as an officer in any Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank. The work experience should be as of October 31, 2023.

4) SBI CBO Local Language-

• Candidates who produce 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate evidencing having studied the specified opted local language of the applied circle as one of the subjects will not be required to undergo the language test
• Candidates seeking for vacancies in a certain Circle must be skilled (reading, writing, and understanding) in any of the specified local languages of that Circle (listed against each Circle) in order to be selected at the time of application registration.

SBI CBO SALARY 2023

The salary of an SBI Circle Based Officer (CBO) 2023 is determined as per the 7th Pay Commission guidelines. The basic pay for the SBI Circle Based Officer position is approximately Rs. 36,000/-. The total in-hand salary for the Circle Based Officer post is around Rs. 50,000 to 52,000, after including the basic pay, allowances, benefits, and increments.
