OVERVIEW OF IBPS REGIONAL RURAL BANKS EXAM DETAILS

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection The Regional Rural Bank Exam is a national-level banking exam held annually by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) for applicants interested in working for RRBs. The following Group A and B posts are being filled.

Candidates for officer level posts are chosen based on their performance in the preliminary exam, mains/single level exam, and interview round. Candidates for the post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose)/Clerk are chosen based on their performance in the Preliminary and Main exams. Candidates who are tentatively shortlisted are assigned to one of the participating RRBs based on the number of vacancies and merit-cum-preference.One of the top banking exams in India is the IBPS RRB exam. Candidates are chosen based on performance on a preliminary exam, the main exam, and an interview.

The IBPS RRB 2024 Notification will be released on June 07, 2024. The posts are classified as Group "A" Officers (Scale-I, II, and III) and Group "B" Office Assistant (Multipurpose). The dates for the preliminary and main examinations were announced alongside the IBPS Calendar 2024-25.

IBPS RRB Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates must meet eligibility criteria based on the following details in order to fill out the IBPS RRB application form 2024: Nationality, Age, Educational Qualification and Work Experience.

(a)Nationality : A candidate must be unmarried male/female and must be :

(i) a citizen of India, or

(ii) a subject of Bhutan, or

(iii) a subject of Nepal, or

(iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or

(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

As long as the candidate falls under category (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) above, they must be someone in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been given by the Government of India.

IBPS RRB XII HOW TO APPLY 2024

A candidate can apply for both the IBPS CRP RRB Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and the Officer Post. A candidate may apply for only one post in the officer's cadre, namely Officer Scale-I, Scale-II, or Scale-III.

Candidates must apply and pay fees/intimation charges separately for every post.Candidates may apply online only between the dates of 07th JUNE 2024 and 27 JUNE 2024; no other form of application will be permitted.

Prerequisites for Applying Online for CRP RRB XII 2024

Before applying online, candidates should:

(i) Scan their photograph and signature, making sure that both the photograph (4.5cm 3.5cm) and signature comply with the standards specified in Annexure III to this advertisement.

(ii) Signatures in CAPITAL LETTERS ARE NOT ACCEPTABLE.

(iii) Prepare the essential details/documents for online payment of the application fee/intimation expenses.

(iv) have a valid personal email ID that should be maintained active until the results of this round of CRP are announced. IBPS may send call letters for examinations and other purposes to the registered e-mail address. Under no circumstances could a candidate share or reference the e-mail ID of another person. If an applicant does not have a valid personal e-mail ID, he or she should create one before applying online and must keep that email account active.

The system will then generate a provisional registration number and password, which will be displayed on the screen. The Provisional registration number and password should be written down by the candidate. An email and SMS with the Provisional Registration number and Password will be provided as well. They can reopen the saved data with the Provisional registration number and password and edit the details if necessary.

IBPS RRB XII EXAMINATION CENTERS 2024

1 The exam will be held online at a variety of locations across India. Annexure II contains a preliminary list of examination centres for the preliminary and main / single exams.

2. No request for a change of examination centre will be considered.

3. However, IBPS maintains the right, at its discretion, to cancel any of the Examination Centres and/or add some other Centres, depending on the response, administrative feasibility, and so on.

4. IBPS also reserves the right to assign the candidate to a centre other than the one he or she has chosen.

5. The candidate shall appear for the examinations at his/her own risk and expense, and IBPS will not be liable for any injury, loss, or damage of any kind.

6. Any disruptive behavior/misbehavior in the examination hall may result in the cancellation of candidature/disqualification from this exam as well as future IBPS exams.
