Staff Selection Commission Constable (GD) Examination Pattern 2023

 

The SSC Constable (GD) examination will include a computer-based examination (CBE), a physical efficiency test (PET), a physical standard test (PST), a medical assessment, and document verification for the recommended applicants. The exam will be conducted in English & Hindi only.

 

·  Mode of Examination – Computer Based Examination

·  Total Number of Sections – Four

·  Types of Question – Objective Multiple Choice Type   

·  Total number of questions in Paper - 80

·  Total Marks – 160

·  Exam Duration for Paper – 1 Hour (60 Minutes)

·  Language of  Question Paper – English, Hindi and in 13 Regional languages viz. (i) Assamese, (ii) Bengali, (iii) Gujarati, (iv)Kannada, (v) Konkani, (vi) Malayalam, (vii) Manipuri, (viii) Marathi, (ix) Odia, (x) Punjabi, (xi) Tamil, (xii) Telugu and (xiii) Urdu

·  Marks for Correct Answer– Two mark

·  Marks for unattempted questions - Zero

To be considered for the SSC Constable GD Physical Test, General Category candidates must score at least 30%, OBC/EWS candidates must score at least 25%, and all other candidates must score at least 20% in the Computer Based Examination. Shortlisted candidates will be chosen based on their category-specific scores.

 

SSC Constable (GD) 2023 – Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

 

The PET aims to test the physical efficiency of candidates to serve in the Central Armed Police Forces, and the PST checks the minimum physical requirements of the candidates before they can be shortlisted for the medical exam and final selection.
