INI CET PG Exam Details Overview 2026

The term INI CET PG stands for Institute of National Importance Combined Entrance Test. The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Delhi administers the entrance exam for Master of Surgery (MS), Doctor of Medicine (MD), Master of Dental Surgery (MDS), Doctorate of Medicine (DM), and Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) programs. INI CET PG results are accepted for admission to AIIMS, JIPMER Puducherry, PGI Chandigarh, NIMHANS, Bengaluru, and SCTIMST, Trivandrum, among others. With effect from 2021, all of these institutes will exclusively admit PG students based on their performance in the INI CET PG exam. Previously, these institutes held separate tests for admission to PG courses. The INI CET PG examination is held twice a year, in January and July.

AIIMS, New Delhi has released the INI CET PG 2026 January test date on aiimsexams.ac.in, along with the information brochure. Eligible applicants must complete the INI CET PG 2026 application form by 25.04.2026. Candidates who successfully complete the application process will be provided with an INI CET PG 2026 January session admit card. AIIMS INI CET PG admit card link will be activated online. The admit card/hall ticket plays an important role throughout the admission process and must be kept until the admission process is completed. INI CET PG admission card 2026 will include crucial information such as name, date of birth, exam day and time, exam center address, and exam day rules.
