FMGE (SCREENING TEST) EXAM PATTERN 2024
- The FMGE Screening Test occurs in English language.
- The FMGE SCREENING TEST is a single, two-part paper with 300
multiple-choice, single-correct response questions in just the English
language that must be completed in one day.
- The FMGE SCREENING TEST exam will be a multiple-choice test delivered over
computer network in accordance with the prescribed schedule.
- Negative Marking: FMGE Exam contains NO negative marking.
- Time schedule for the FMGE 2024 exam shall be as follows-

Note- The questionpaper for each part of FMGE will be
divided into multiple time-boundsections. For example, if there are 3-time
bound sections (Section A, B & C) in each part of the question paper, each
suchsection will have 50 questions and 50 minutes of time allotted forthe
section.
A FMGE applicant won't be considered successful unless they receive at least
50% of the possible marks in the test.
Results for qualified candidates will be made available on the NBE
website and in person. The results will be announced for each candidate and
posted on the www.natboard.edu.in website.
The applicants who pass the screening test may submit an application for
provisional or permanent registration to the Medical Council of India, New
Delhi, or to any State Medical Council.
An applicant taking the FMGE SCREENING TEST is allowed an
unlimited number of attempts. However, because the FMGE is a
qualifying test, once a candidate passes it, he or she is ineligible to retake
it.
