JEE Advanced Physics Paper Analysis 2025
The JEE Advanced 2025 Physics papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) were conceptually demanding and mathematically intensive, with strong emphasis on mechanics, waves, electromagnetism, modern physics and error/units, and a good mix of single-correct, multi-correct, numerical and matching-type questions.
Overall pattern (Physics)
- Both papers: 16 Physics questions each, divided as 4 single-correct MCQ, 3 multiple-correct, 6 numerical value, 3 matching-type sets.
- Question types used:MCQ (single correct), MR (multiple response), Numerical Value, MCMT (matching list / matrix type).
- Style: Strong focus on small-concept twists, mixed topics in one problem (e.g. SHM+rotation, wave+boundary, EM+motion), and data-based reasoning (measurement, error, units). Questions are more concept-heavy than computation-heavy in many places, but accurate algebra and calculus are essential.
