TS EAMCET/EAPCET Exam Details Overview 2025

The TS EAMCET/EAPCET (Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture, and Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) is an annual entrance examination held in the Indian states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. It serves as the primary means of admission into various undergraduate programs such as engineering, agriculture, pharmacy, and medical sciences offered by universities and colleges in these regions.

The exam is conducted by Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU) Hyderabad on behalf of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE).In 2025, the TS EAPCET exam is scheduled to take place between April 29 and April 30 for engineering courses, while the exam for agricultural and pharmaceutical courses will occur on May 02 to May 05.

The TS EAMCET/EAPCET 2025 application form will be available from March 01, 2025, and the last date to submit the registration form will be until April 4, 2025, without a late fee. TS EAMCET/EAPCET Eligibility Criteria 2025

The eligibility criteria for TS EAMCET 2025 are as follows:

General Eligibility:

  • Domicile:Aspirants must belong to Telangana/Andhra Pradesh.
  • Nationality:Indian Nationals or PIO/OCI card holders are eligible.
  • Local/Non-Local Status:Candidates must satisfy the local/non-local status criteria.

Age Criteria:

  • Engineering & Pharmacy:Minimum age of 16 years as of December 31, 2025.
  • Candidates for B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering), and B.Tech. (Food Technology) must be at least 17 years old by December 31st of the year of admission. The upper age limit is 22 years for all candidates and 25 years for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates.
  • Pharma.D:Minimum age of 17 years.
  • Other Courses:Minimum age of 17 and maximum age of 22 years.

For B.E. / B.Tech. in Engineering, Bio-Technology, B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.Tech. (Ag. Engineering) and for 50% seats in B.Pharmacy, B.Tech. (Food Technology (FT)) Courses:

1) Applicants must have completed or attempted to complete the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) in the final year, with Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology listed as optional subjects or relevant vocational studies in the engineering and technology disciplines (Or)

2) Applicants must have either passed or participated in the last year of the Telangana/Andhra Pradesh State Board of Technical Education and Training's Engineering Diploma examination.

3) Except for the B. Pharmacy course, the candidate must obtain at least 45% (40% for students from the reserved category) in the courses indicated when taken together at the 10+2 pattern.

For B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture / B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture/ B.Sc. (Forestry) / B.V.Sc. & A.H. B.F.Sc., for remaining 50% seats in B.Tech. (FT) Course and B.Sc. (Nursing):

Applicants must have passed the Intermediate Examination (10+2 pattern) or have taken it in the final year or any exam recognised as equivalent by the Board of Intermediate Education, Telangana/Andhra Pradesh, with any two or three of the courses stated against each course listed below. Candidates from the Unreserved and Reserved categories must achieve at least 45% and 40% marks in the specified subjects (MPC/BiPC) at the 10+2 level, respectively.
