SBI Apprentice Vacancy 2026

The State Bank of India announced a SBI Apprentice vacancy in its official notification for 2026. A total of 7150 vacancies were made available by SBI this year. SBI Apprentice Eligibility Criteria 2026

To apply for the Apprenticeship jobs, candidates must meet the Eligibility criteria as given by the State Bank of India. According to the previous year's notification, the fundamental eligibility for SBI Apprentice in terms of age and educational qualification is as follows.

Educational Qualification – Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a college or institution that has been granted approval by the institution Grants Commission (UGC) or a similar organization recognized by the central government.

Age Limit (As on01 April 2026) - The minimum age requirement to take the exam is set up at 20, while the maximum age limit for a candidate is set at 28.

SBI Apprentice Salary 2026

SBI Apprentice base salary 2026:

Graduates who fulfill the eligibility criteria and are chosen for the program will get a stipend of Rs. 15000 per month for the duration of their apprenticeship training. The training term is one year long, as stated in the SBI Apprentice Notification. The Apprentice will only get the monthly stipend; no other payments, benefits, or extras will be made.

SBI Apprentice Exam 2026 :FAQs

1.Is an SBI Apprenticeship a permanent bank job?
No, it is a 1-year apprenticeship training program under the Apprentices Act, 1961. Apprentices do not become regular SBI employees upon completion.

2.What are the start and end dates for the 2026 applications?
The online application process started on May 19, 2026, and will close on June 8, 2026.

3.What is the educational qualification required to apply?
Candidates must hold a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or institute.

4.What is the age limit and reservation criteria?
