IBPS Clerk Exam Pattern 2024

 

The IBPS recently changed the pattern of the clerk exam. Candidates must read through and carefully analyse the question papers from the previous year's exams in order to better understand the IBPS Clerk exam pattern and to better prepare themselves.

 

There will be two parts to the IBPS CRP CLERK exam: the preliminary and the mains. The IBPS CRP CLERK written test would be objective ONLINE as detailed below:

 

IBPS Clerk Prelims Exam Pattern

 

 IBPS Clerk's preliminary exam consists of questions from three sections. The exam lasts for 1 hour (60 minutes), and the total score for the paper is 100. The prelims exam's structure is provided here.

The IBPS CRP Clerks Candidates must achieve the cut-off marks in each of the three examinations, which will be determined by IBPS. A sufficient number of candidates in each category, as determined by IBPS according with requirements, shall be shortlisted for the online CRP Clerk Main exam.

 

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Pattern 2024

 

IBPS Clerk's main exam consists of questions from four areas. The exam consists of 190 questions, which candidates must answer within 160 minutes. There are 200 total scores available for the test. Below is an overview of the mains exam's structure.

The above IBPS CRP Clerk tests except the Tests of English Language will be available in English and Hindi.

 

PENALTY FOR WRONG ANSWERS (Applicable to both – IBPS Clerks Prelim and Main exam (Online))

 

There is a penalty for wrong answers marked in both the preliminary examination as well as mains examination. A wrong answer to an objective question will result in a deduction of one-fourth or 0.25 marks of the overall mark for that question. If a question is left unanswered or blank, there will be no penalty.

 

IBPS Clerk Final Score Calculation Examination 2024:-

 

The following factors are taken into consideration when calculating the IBPS Clerk exam's final score:

• Marks obtained in the Preliminary Exam (Phase-1) will not be considered for final selection.

• Candidates must qualify Phase 2 to be eligible for final merit.

• The aggregate score out of 100 is used for the final merit list for each category. Candidates with top merit rank in each category are finally selected.

 

IBPS Clerk STANDARDIZED SCORES  2024

 

  • The corrected scores obtained by each of the candidates in different sessions (if held) will
    be normalized using equi-percentile method.
  • Scores up to two decimal points shall be taken for the purpose of calculations.

 

IBPS Clerk Cut Off 2024

 

The IBPS Clerk Cut-Off is a crucial tool for candidates because it will determine  the final selection of the candidate in the exam. The exam results and the cut-off will both be released. However, a cut-off can be predicted based on the previous year’s exams. The cut-off points will be decided based on the average (Average – ¼ Standard Deviation for General category candidates and Average – ¾ Standard Deviation for Reserved Category candidates). 

 

IBPS Clerk Score Card 2024

 

Only those candidates who qualify will have their Score Cards printed by IBPS, and they will be sent to each candidate at the corresponding address they provided in their online applications through Registered or Speed Post.
