IBPS Clerk Exam Details 2025

The IBPS Clerk or IBPS Common Recruitment Process for clerks exam is conducted yearly by IBPS (Institute of Banking Personnel Selection). It is the governing body in charge of recruiting fresh staff members for the public sector banks in India.

Each year, the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts a Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for positions in the Clerical Cadre at 11 Public Sector Banks. Most of the bank's shares are held by the Indian government's ministry of finance or one of the state governments, making public sector banks the largest category of government-owned organisations in India. IBPS will be conducting the Clerk examination for the 15th consecutive year in 2026–2027, hence the name IBPS Clerk CRP XV. The preliminary test and the main exam are the two parts of the IBPS Clerk exam. Thus, those who pass both of these exams are chosen for the post. IBPS Clerk 2025 online registration will begin on August 1, 2025, and the deadline to submit an online application is August 21, 2025, according to the IBPS Clerk 2025 short notification.

IBPS will conduct two-tier exams to hire IBPS Clerk CRP V. All applicants who successfully register for the IBPS Clerk CRP XV will receive an invitation to the Preliminary IBPS Clerk Examinations. A specific number of students will be shortlisted for each of these exams based on their performance in the preliminary exam. The shortlisted applicants will then receive invitations to the IBPS Clerk Main Exams. The Preliminary Examination will have fewer questions and a shorter time limit. The IBPS website will soon post detailed announcements containing all the information regarding to the IBPS Clerk Preliminary and Main Examinations.
