The Common University Entrance Test (CUET) is an examination conducted by the National Testing Agency for admission to undergraduate programs at various universities. The National Testing Agency (NTA), which conducts CUET, sets the following general eligibility standards:
- Educational Qualification:
- You must have passed Class 12 (or an equivalent examination) from a recognized Board.
- Candidates appearing for the Class 12 examination in 2026 are also eligible to apply.
- Minimum Marks:
- General Category: At least 50% marks in the qualifying Class 12 exam.
- Reserved Categories (OBC/SC/ST/PwD): At least 45% marks in the qualifying Class 12 exam.
- Note: These percentages can be higher depending on the specific University and course.
- There is no fixed minimum percentage required by NTA just to appear for the CUET exam.
- However, most universities set a minimum requirement for admission, typically:
- Age Limit: There is no fixed age limit to appear for CUET UG. However, some universities may impose their own age restrictions for specific courses.

CUET UG Physics Admit Card 2026
The candidates would get their e-Admit Cards via the NTA website on a provisional basis:
https://cuet.nta.nic.in/ provided that the National Testing Agency (NTA) receives the required application fee and that all eligibility requirements are met.
The candidate must access the NTA website to download the admit card. The candidate will show up for the exam at the designated location on the date, shift, and time specified in his or her electronic admit card.
The following are some things the applicant should keep in mind about the admission card:
- You can download the admit card from the CUET 2026 official website at cuet.samarth.ac.in.
- The candidate must show up at the appropriate location on the date and at the time indicated on his or her e-Admit Card to take the test.
- No candidate is allowed to show up at the testing location on a day, during a shift, or at a time other than those listed on their admission card.
