PNB APPRENTICE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2024

To apply for the Apprenticeship jobs, candidates must meet the Eligibility criteria as given by the Punjab National Bank. According to the previous year's notification, the fundamental eligibility for PNB Apprentice in terms of age and educational qualification is as follows.

Nationality-

  • Indian Citizenship
  • A Candidate of Nepal / Bhutan /
  • A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement they also can apply for SBL Apprentice 2024/
  • A Person of Indian Origin who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India.

Educational Qualification

  • Candidates must have a graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized/approved Institute/College/University/ approved by Govt.bodies/ AICTE/ UGC.
  • The result of the qualifying degree must have been declared on or before June 30, 2024
  • Candidates must produce the Mark Sheets and Provisional/Degree Certificate issued from the University/College/Institute as and when required by the Bank.
  • The candidates applying for training seats of a particular State/ UT, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in local language of that State/UT.

Age Limit - The minimum age requirement to take the exam is set up at 20, while the maximum age limit for a candidate is set at 28 as on 30.06.2024 i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 30.06.1996 and not later than 30.06.2004.

PNB APPRENTICE SALARY 2024

PNB Apprentice base salary 2024: -

The salary for PNB Apprentices in 2024 is as follows:

  • Rural/Semi-Urban Branches: Rs. 10,000 per month
  • Urban Branches: Rs. 12,000 per month
  • Metro Branches: Rs. 15,000 per month

The salary ranges from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 15,000 per month depending on the location of the branch. Apprentices are not eligible for any other allowances or benefits during the one-year training period.
