NIFT B.DES EXAM DETAILS OVERVIEW 2025

The National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is a premier institution for fashion education and research in India. It conducts the NIFT entrance exam, which is a national-level exam for admission to its various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in design and fashion technology. The exam consists of two stages: the Creative Ability Test (CAT) and the General Ability Test (GAT). NIFT B.des FINAL SELECTIONS 2025

The final selections for NIFT B.Des program 2025 will be based on the overall performance of the candidate in the CAT, GAT, and Situation Test. The NIFT final merit list will be prepared by giving weightage to the CAT, GAT, and Situation Test. The NIFT final results for B.Des courses will be declared in the last week of April 2025, and the final merit list will be prepared by giving weightage to the CAT, GAT, and Situation Test. The counseling process for qualified candidates will follow the announcement of the final results. The weightage for various courses as per the exams is indicated in the table below:

The NIFT 2025 exam will be conducted in numerous cities across India.
