NIFT B.FTECH Eligibility 2024

NIFT BACHELOR PROGRAMME (B.FTech.) Age Limit -

The age criteria for the NIFT B.FTech program in 2024 are as follows:

• The candidate should be less than 24 years of age as of August 1, 2024, to be considered for admission to the B.FTech  program.
• There is a relaxation in the upper age limit of five years for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, and PwD categories.

NIFT BACHELOR PROGRAMME (B.FTech.) Educational Qualification –

As per the official NIFT 2024 Admission Guidelines, the educational qualifications for the B.FTech program are:

• Candidates must have passed the 10+2 exam from CBSE/ State Board or any recognized Board. There is no minimum marks requirement for the 10+2 exam.For the B.FTech program, candidates must have studied Physics and Mathematics during their 10+2 education.

OR

• A passing score in at least five subjects with Physics and Mathematics on the National Open School Senior Secondary School Examination.

OR

• Any public school, board, or university examination that is recognised as being equivalent to the 10+2 system with Physics and Mathematics by the Association of Indian Universities, whether it is conducted in India or abroad.

OR

• International Baccalaureate (IB) or General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination (London, Cambridge, Sri Lanka) at the advanced (A) level with physics and mathematics.

NIFT B.FTech Final Selections 2024

The final selection for the NIFT B.F.Tech program 2024 is based on the candidate's performance in the NIFT Entrance Exam, particularly the General Ability Test (GAT). The NIFT B.F.Tech selection process comprises the GAT written examination only, with a weightage of 100%. The final result for the B.F.Tech program will be solely based on the GAT score, and the merit rank or scores of the candidate in the final results will be used to shortlist candidates.
