The Intelligence Bureau Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (IB ACIO) Grade 2/Executive Exam 2023 is a recruitment exam conducted by the Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, India. The exam is held to fill 995 vacant positions for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade–II/Executive. The registration for the exam started on November 25, 2023, and will end on December 15, 2023. The exam is open to candidates with a graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized university, and the age limit is between 18 to 27 years. The selection process consists of a written exam, interview, document verification, and medical examination. The written exam is divided into two tiers, Tier 1 and Tier 2, and covers subjects such as current affairs, general studies, numerical aptitude, reasoning and logical aptitude, and English language.

The pay scale for the IB ACIO 2023 exam is between INR 44,900 and INR 1,42,400, as per the 7th Pay Commission. The initial pay scale for the post of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade II/Executive is INR 44,900, which can reach a maximum of INR 1,42,400. The Grade Pay for IB ACIO Grade II/Executive is INR 4600. The in-hand salary of IB ACIO ranges from INR 80,375 to INR 90,257 (depending on the location of posting).
