The Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for admissions to its engineering undergraduate programs. It is a computer-based entrance test held for 10+2 passed candidates for admission in BTech courses offered at Amrita University campuses in Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Nagercoil. The exam assesses candidates' knowledge and aptitude in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. AEEE is conducted annually and offers candidates the opportunity to pursue BTech programs in various disciplines. The exam duration is 2.5 hours, and it consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. The exam is conducted in a computer-based test mode across multiple cities in India and selected cities in other countries. Admission to BTech programs offered at Amrita School of Engineering is based on the rank secured in AEEE, JEE Mains, or SAT/Pearson UG Engineering Entrance Examination Score. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores, and the remaining 30% are filled based on JEE Main ranks

AEEE Application Fee 2026

The application fee for AEEE 2026 is as follows:

  • For admission through AEEE: INR 1300
  • For admission through JEE Main: INR 500
  • For admission through both AEEE and JEE Main: INR 1300

The AEEE application fee can be paid online either by credit/debit card or net banking. The application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates applying for both AEEE and JEE Main will need to pay the higher of the two fees, which is INR 1300

The AEEE 2026admit card is expected to be released before the first week of exam. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official AEEE website using their login credentials.
