OVERVIEW OF AEEE EXAM DETAILS 2024

The Amrita Engineering Entrance Exam (AEEE) is a national-level entrance examination conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham for admissions to its engineering undergraduate programs. It is a computer-based entrance test held for 10+2 passed candidates for admission in BTech courses offered at Amrita University campuses in Amaravati, Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Nagercoil. The exam assesses candidates' knowledge and aptitude in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. AEEE is conducted annually and offers candidates the opportunity to pursue BTech programs in various disciplines. The exam duration is 2.5 hours, and it consists of 100 multiple-choice questions. The exam is conducted in a computer-based test mode across multiple cities in India and selected cities in other countries. Admission to BTech programs offered at Amrita School of Engineering is based on the rank secured in AEEE, JEE Mains, or SAT/Pearson UG Engineering Entrance Examination Score. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores, and the remaining 30% are filled based on JEE Main ranks

AEEE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2024

NATIONALITY- Applicants may apply for the AEEE exam from both international and Indian nationalities.

AGE LIMIT- The age limit for AEEE 2024 exam is that candidates who are born on or after July 1, 2003, will be eligible to appear for the exam.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION-

Candidates must have passed the 10+2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination from a recognized board. They must have scored a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, with no less than 55% in each of these three subjects

AEEE SELECTION PROCEDURE 2024

The selection stages for AEEE 2024 are as follows:

1. Application and Slot Booking: Candidates need to fill out the AEEE 2024 application form and participate in slot booking to select the date and time slot for the exam.
2. Examination: AEEE 2024 is scheduled to be conducted in two phases. The first phase is scheduled for January 19th to 22nd, 2024, and the second phase is tentatively planned for May 10th to 14th, 2024. The exam will feature 100 questions covering Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English.
3. Result and Rank Card: The result is expected to be released in the 4th week of January 2024, and the rank card is expected to be available in the 2nd week of February 2024.
4. Counselling and Seat Allotment: After the exam, selected candidates will have to participate in the counselling process, where they will be allotted seats based on their rank, choice of course, and availability of seats.
5. Document Verification and Admission Confirmation: During the counselling process, candidates will be required to produce their original documents for verification. After the seat allotment, candidates will be required to pay the admission fee to confirm their admission.

AEEE HOW TO APPLY 2024

To apply for AEEE 2024, candidates can follow the below steps:

1. Registration: Visit the official website of Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham or the designated portal for AEEE 2024 and create a new account by providing the required details such as name, email address, contact information, etc.

AEEE APPLICATION FEE 2024

The application fee for AEEE 2024 is as follows:

• For admission through AEEE: INR 1200
• For admission through JEE Main: INR 500
• For admission through both AEEE and JEE Main: INR 1200

The AEEE application fee can be paid online either by credit/debit card or net banking. The application fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances. Candidates applying for both AEEE and JEE Main will need to pay the higher of the two fees, which is INR 1200

AEEE ADMIT CARD 2024

The AEEE 2024 admit card is expected to be released before the first week of exam. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official AEEE website using their login credentials.
