The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) is a state-level board responsible for conducting the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE). The WBJEE is an undergraduate-level exam held annually to admit eligible candidates to various engineering, technology, and pharmacy courses at different colleges and universities in West Bengal. The WBJEEB was established in 1962 by the Government of West Bengal. WBJEE Eligibility Criteria 2024

Nationality –Candidates must be Indian citizens or OCI (Overseas Citizens of India. OCI candidates will be eligible for unreserved seats in the All India quota.

Age Limit -The minimum age to apply for the WBJEE 2024 exam is 17 years, and there is no maximum age limit for the exam. However, for the Marine Engineering Course, the upper age limit is 25 years. Therefore, candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, to be eligible for the exam.

Educational Qualification –

• For Engineering Course: Candidates must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects, as well as one of chemistry/biotechnology/biology/computer science/computer application/technical vocational course. 
• For Pharmacy Course- Candidates must have completed a 10+2 examination with physics, chemistry, mathematics/biology as mandatory subjects.
• Candidates must have secured at least 30% marks in English in 12^th Standard (applicable for candidates from all categories)
• The candidate must have received at least 45% (40% for students from SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, and PwD) in the above three mandatory subjects.
• The school board for the 12th grade must be recognised by the applicable Central Government or State Government.

Domicile/residential requirement: There is no particular residential/domicile requirement to appear in the WBJEE 2024 exam. However, the state domicile requirement is applicable for any seat under Tuition Fee Waiver (TFW).

WBJEE How to Apply 2024

To apply for the WBJEE 2024 exam, candidates can follow these steps:

Registration:
