To be selected for the post, the candidate must complete all three levels of the exam pattern. The exam pattern for the OICL Assistant 2025 exam is shown below. OICL Assistant 2025 has three stages:

1. Preliminary Exam –Online Objective Test
2. Main Exam– Online Objective Test
3. Regional Language Test

OICL Assistant Prelims Exam Pattern 2025

1. The OICL Assistant Preliminary Exam consists of three sections: English Language, Reasoning, and Numerical Ability.
2. Section-wise maximum marks: English Language (30), Reasoning (35), and Numerical Ability (35).
3. Total marks: 100.
4. Types of Question - Objective Tests (Multiple Choice type Questions)
5. Time duration per section: 20 minutes.
6. Overall time duration: 60 minutes (1 hour).
7. Bilingual format (English and Hindi).
8. Negative marking: 0.25 for incorrect answers.
9. No negative marking if a question is not attempted.

OICL Assistant Mains Exam Pattern 2025

The OICL Mains Exam Pattern 2025 for Assistant consists of five sections, and the details are as follows:

1. The OICL Assistant Mains Exam Pattern for Assistant post 2025 consists of five sections: Test of Reasoning, Test of English Language, Test of General Awareness, Test of Computer Knowledge, and Test of Numerical Ability.
2. The exam is conducted online and is of 250 marks.
3. The medium of the exam is both English and Hindi.
4. The duration of the exam is 120 minutes (2 hours).
5. The objective test has separate time duration for each section.
6. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for incorrect answers in the Objective Tests.

Note- Candidate qualifying in the online Main Examination will be shortlisted and called for Regional Language Test before final selection. No separate marks will be awarded for Regional Language Test. This test will be only qualifying in nature.

OICL Assistant Regional Language Test 2025

After being shortlisted in the online Main Examination, candidates will be invited to a Regional Language Test at selected centres. The shortlisted candidates will be informed of the name and address of the centre, as well as the time and date of the test, via our website. Candidates seeking for vacancies in a State / UT other than their domiciled State / UT must take and pass the Regional Language Test in the language of the State / UT for which they have applied. Candidates must download their call letters for the Regional Language Test from the company's website.

Please keep in mind that any requests for date, time, or location changes will not be considered. However, the Company maintains the right to change the date, time, venue, and centre of this test, or to hold a supplementary process for a specific date, session, site, centre, or group of applicants, at its discretion, in the event of unforeseen circumstances.

The Regional Language Test will be of qualifying nature only. No Scores will be allotted for the same.

The score obtained by the candidates in the Online Main Examination will be considered while arriving at the Final Ranking subject to their qualifying the Regional Language Test Candidate should be sufficiently high in the Merit List to be shortlisted for subsequent Recruitment process.
