To be selected for the post, the candidate must complete all three levels of the exam pattern. The exam pattern for the NICL AO 2024 exam is shown below. NICL AO 2024 has three stages:

 

1. Preliminary –Objective Test

2.  Main –Objective Test & Descriptive Test

NICL AO Preliminary Exam Pattern (applicable for all disciplines except for Hindi Officers)

  2. Section-wise maximum marks: English Language (30), Reasoning (35), and Quantitative Aptitude (35).
  3. Total marks: 100.
  4. Types of Question - Objective Tests (Multiple Choice type Questions)
  5. Time duration per section: 20 minutes.
  6. Overall time duration: 60 minutes (1 hour).
  7. Bilingual format (English and Hindi).
  8. Negative marking: 0.25 for incorrect answers.
