NEET UG EXAM DETAILS OVERVIEW 2025
NEET UG 2025 Exam is conducted by National Testing Agency or NTA as a consistent entrance examination in MBBS/ BDS/ BSMS / BAMS/ BUMS/ BHMS and medical courses from approved/ recognized medical/ dental/ AYUSH and various Deemed Universities & Colleges in India, as per Section-14 of The National Commission (NMC) Act, 2019, and Graduate Medical Education Regulations (GMER) 1997.
NEET UG-2025 Examination will be conducted in 13 languages- Hindi, English, Assamese, Gujrati, Kannada, Marathi, Tamil, Malayalam, Bengali, Punjabi,Tamil, Odia and Urdu.
According to the National Medical Council Section – 14 act of 2019, the Nation Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) will be used to determine admission to undergraduate medical programmes at all medical institution governed under any law. NEET will be the exclusive method of admission for MBBS programmes at AIIMS, New Delhi, JIPMER, and all institutions that are similar to AIIMS.
National Testing Agency (NTA) will be accountable for various activities of NEET-UG including the entrance exam, the release of the results, and the provision of category-wise AIR (All India Ranking) to the Directorate of General Health Services and Ministry of AYUSH, Government, in conducting the counselling by: Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) of DGHS for admission to MBS/BDS courses.

NEET UG ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2025
Candidates willing to appear in NEET UG 2025 EXAM advised to go through the eligibility criteria before filling Application form of NEET UG 2025. Eligibility criteria of NEET 2025 will include the minimum and maximum age requirement, educational requirements, subject studied in the previous qualifying examination, status of the previous qualifying examination, category, and nationality. Under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, the National Testing Agency (NTA), a leading testing organisation that is independent, autonomous, and self-sustaining, develops the guidelines.
- Minimum age requirement: He/she has completed 17 years of age at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31 December of the year of his/her admission to the first year of the Undergraduate Medical Course.
- Maximum age requirement: As per the official notification from National Medical Commission (NMC), the upper age limit for NEET eligibility criteria has been removed.
- Maximum Number of attempts :No such restriction on the number of attempts for NEET 2025 Examination
- Nationality: The participating candidates have to be an Indian National, Non-Resident Indian (NRI), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) to pursue his/her Undergraduate Medical Course, or a student with Indian Origin (PIO).

Candidates applying for NEET UG 2025 EXAM must have passed in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English individually and must have obtained a minimum of 50% marks taken together in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Bio-technology at the qualifying examination.
In respect of the candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes or Other Backward classe (NCL)s, the minimum marks obtained in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology taken together in qualifying examination shall be 40% marks instead of 50% marks for Unreserved and General-EWS Candidates. In respect of PwD candidates as per NMC,CCIM and BoGCCH guidelines the minimum marks in qualifying examination in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (or Botany & Zoology)/Biotechnology taken together shall be 45% instead of 50%.
Candidates will be eligible to take the NEET UG entrance exam in 2025 if they fulfil the above mention requirements for eligibility for NEET 2025 Examination and submit their applications by the deadline.

NEET UG APPLICATION FEES 2025
Candidates willing to appear in NEET UG 2025 Exam can pay application form fee through online system only by using Credit Card/ Debit Card, Net Banking/UPI e-wallet for which there will be the service charges, as per rules ,shall be applicable in addition to the application form processing fees.

ADMIT CARD OF NEET-UG
- If a candidate meets the eligibility requirements. Their NEET UG 2025 Admit Card will be given to them provisionally.
