NCHM JEE EXAM DETAILS OVERVIEW 2025
The NCHM JEE (National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination) is a national-level exam conducted for admission to the B.Sc. (Hospitality & Hotel Administration) course offered by the Institutes affiliated to the National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT). The exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) and consists of multiple-choice questions covering subjects such as Numerical Ability and Analytical Aptitude, Reasoning and Logical Deduction, General Knowledge & Current Affairs, English Language, and Aptitude for Service Sector. The duration of the exam is three hours, and each correct answer is awarded four marks, with one mark deducted for every incorrect answer.
The NCHM JEE exam is an important requirement for admission to more than 75 participating colleges, and the result is valid for one year. The exam is conducted in computer-based mode and is tentatively scheduled for 27 April 2025, with the result expected to be declared in May 2025.

NCHM JEE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2025
Age Limit –
The NCHM JEE does not impose an age restriction for appearing in the exam as per the New Education Policy.
Educational Qualification –
The educational qualification required for NCHM JEE 2025 is as follows:
- A candidate should have passed the 10+2 system of Senior Secondary Examination or its equivalent with English as one of the subjects from a recognized board or university.
- There is no age restriction for appearing in NCHM JEE as per the New Education Policy. Those appearing in 10+2 or equivalent examination can also appear in NCHM JEE 2025 on a provisional basis. Provisional admission will stand cancelled if proof of having passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or its equivalent) is not provided by the specified date.
- Applicants must have completed 12 years of official schooling to be eligible for the programme.
- Cambridge University’s High School Certificate Examination.
- Any public-school examination in India or a foreign country recognised by the Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to the 10+2 Senior Secondary education model.
- H.S.C. Vocational Examination recognised by the NCVT and SCVT of the applicant's state.
Candidates must also meet the parameters for physical fitness and adhere to the guidelines specified by the National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology.
NCHM JEE RESERVATION 2025
The reservation criteria for NCHM JEE 2025 are as follows:
- Other Backward Classes (OBC) Non-Creamy Layer: 27% of total seats
- Scheduled Castes (SC): 15% of total seats
- Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5% of total seats
- Economically Weaker Sections (EWS): 10% of total seats
- Kashmiri Migrant: 1 seat in each participating institute
These quotas may vary depending on the individual institutions running under the Central Government.Additionally, some state governments may provide separate reservations based on local policies.
NCHM JEE EXAM CENTRES 2025
The NCHM JEE (National Council for Hotel Management Joint Entrance Examination) 2025 will be conducted in 109 cities spread across India.The National Testing Agency (NTA) will allocate the NCHMCT JEE exam center in the chosen city, which will be displayed on the admit card.Candidates will be informed about the test center by the authorities after they submit their application form. The final intimation of the exam center will be displayed on the admit card of NCHMCT JEE 2025.Candidates should report to the allocated NCHMCT exam centers to appear for the exam.
