OVERVIEW OF MANIPAL ENTRANCE TEST (MET) EXAM DETAILS 2024

 

The Manipal Entrance Test (MET) is an online entrance exam conducted by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (formerly known as Manipal University) for admission to various programs. The exam is conducted annually and is a computer-based test. It is used for admission to programs such as Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech), Master of Technology (M.Tech), Master of Engineering (M.E), Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), and other programs offered by the university. MET Eligibility Criteria 2024

 

Nationality - Indian nationals can apply for the Manipal Entrance Test (MET) under the general category, subject to eligibility and equivalency. Foreign nationals, Person of Indian Origin (PIO) Card Holders, Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Non-Resident Indian (NRI), and NRI Sponsored candidates can also apply for the MET under the Foreign / NRI category.

 

Educational Qualification –

 

Candidate must have passed a 10+2 examination from any recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English as compulsory subjects and Bio-technology/Biology/any technical vocational subject as an optional subject, with a minimum aggregate mark of 50% in Physics, Mathematics, and any one of the optional subjects.

 

  • The final examination for the 10+2 system of higher secondary examination will be conducted by the State Board, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE, New Delhi), and the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination.
  • Intermediate or two-year pre-university examination administered by a recognised Board/University.
  • Advanced (A) level of the General Certificate of Education (Cambridge/London/Sri Lanka).
