 IB Security Assistant and MTS Tier -1 Written Exam Pattern (Objective Type)

 

The  IB Security Assistant and MTS Tier-I exam pattern for the Intelligence Bureau (IB) Recruitment 2023 is as follows:

  • The duration of the  IB Security Assistant and MTS online examination will be 60 minutes (1 hour).
  • The  IB Security Assistant and MTS exam will be objective type MCQs, divided into four parts: General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude, Numerical/Analytical/Logical Ability and Reasoning, and General English.
  • The exam will comprise 100 questions, with each question carrying 1 mark.
  • There will be a negative marking of ¼ marks for each wrong answer.
  • The qualifying mark for IB Security Assistant/Executive Tier I is 35 out of 100.
  • This Tier-1 exam is Common for SA/MT & MTS/Gen posts.

 IB Security Assistant and MTS Tier-II Exam Pattern (Descriptive type)

 

  • The Tier-II exam pattern for IB SA & MTS Recruitment 2023 is an offline exam of descriptive type, applicable to MTS posts only. The exam will consist of two parts: Part I (Common for SA/Exe & MTS/Gen) and Part II (only for SA/Exe).
  • Part I will be Motor Mechanic & Driving Test cum Interview with 50 marks for SA/MT posts only.
  • Part II will be an offline exam of descriptive type with 50 marks, and the duration of the exam will be 1 hour.
