Candidates already set their goal for JEE MAIN. Now It's time to useSMART LEARNING to accomplish the goal. Students has to follow these some steps-
- Daily study plan.
- The subjects that demand more time and are important to the syllabus should be your top priorities.
- Maintain the routine and focus especially on problems.
Goals that cannot be measured are never achieved. For example your goal can have a short term objective - I shall complete laws of motion in next two days and shall be able to answer 80% objective questions on concepts and problems of laws of motion correctly and there after assess yourself to measure whether you have achieved your short term objective.
Focus on NCERT
First start with NCERT books, which are the bases for JEE main. NCERT books will helps you to build a strong base of the concepts and theories. Note that 60-70% of the JEE Main paper is come from NCERT books. Having a clear base of the syllabus is an important attribute for JEE preparation. Once you are done with these books, start referring to other books.
Understand the Syllabus
Write down theSyllabus of JEE MAIN Exam, read it properly and understand the priority of most important topics. After doing this you will gain a much more of valuable insights about the important topics, course objectives, exam pattern, marking schemes and other details that could help fill the gap of your preparation. On the half of it divided your syllabus according to time and make valuable time table.
Management of time
Time management is a major factor in JEE MAIN Exam journey and success, be it during preparation or during the exam. Try to focus where you waste your precious time. Once you've done that, you should create a study schedule that works for you. You can only complete the entire course and even perform modifications with a well-planned timeline.
Always use the appropriate study resources
NCERT books are helps you to build a strong base in your preparation. For additional studying, many books will be available, name list is mentioned below. Candidates have to solve previous years’ question papers; it will help them to increase speed and accuracy with time management and then you automatically gain confidence.
Preparation can never be complete without knowing the frequently asked questions from various subjects. Solve JEE MAIN frequently asked questions which will strengthen your preparation.
Analyse yourself test results carefully. You would have made some ridiculous errors. The next time, try to avoid them.

Many candidates for the IIT have the tendency of relating to new books or attempting to learn new material. But doing so will cause confusion and unnecessary tension. Only use this time for revision and practise testing.
Right Reference Books
There are many excellent books available, but limit yourself to a select few. Keep the NCERT textbooks as your primary reference materials and add one more textbook per subject for theory and one more for problems. All other materials should only be used as reference materials to address specific questions.
