OVERVIEW OF YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST DETAILS

Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJ&E), Govt. of India, has established the National Testing Agency (NTA) as an independent, autonomous and self-sustained premier testing organization under the Societies Registration Act (1860) for conducting efficient, transparent and international standardized tests for the admission of candidates to premier higher education institutions (HEI). MSJ&E has developed a scheme called as PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (YASASVI).

The National Testing Agency or NTA released the notification for the Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET) application 2023 entrance exam in July 2023. Interested candidates can visit the official website https://yet.nta.ac.in/ and fill out the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India application form from 11^th July 2023 till 10^th August 2023. Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET) is scheduled for 29th September 2023 (Friday).

NTA has released the official notification of Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET) for class 9^th and 11^th on 7 July, 2023.Candidates can check the important exam dates below –

• Release of Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET)  2023 Official Notification – 11^th July, 2023 
• Starting Registration Date for Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET) 2023 – 11^th July, 2023

OBJECTIVE OF THE PM YASASVI SCHEME

The PM Young Achievers Scholarship Grant Scheme for a Vibrant India (YASASVI) was developed by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment (MSJ&E) of the Government of India to provide scholarships to students from various underprivileged classes.

Through the PM YASASVI scholarship test, the government planned to provide 15,000 merit-based scholarships to deserving students in Classes 9 and 11 in the amount of Rs 75,000 to Rs 1,25,000 annually.

YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 2023

The eligibility requirements for appearing in the Yasasvi Entrance exam are as follows:

• A Candidate must be citizen of India.
• A Candidate must belong to the OBC/ EBC/ DNT SAR/NT/SNT category.
• Candidates for the PM Yasasvi Scheme 2023 must have finished the eighth grade in order to take the tenth grade exams in the 2023 academic session.
• The candidate’s parents should not earn more than Rs. 2.5 lakh per year.
• Candidates applying for class 9 must have been born between April 1, 2007, and March 31, 20011.
• Candidates must have been born between April 1, 2005, and March 31, 2009, in order to apply for the class 11.
• Both boys and girls are eligible to apply for Yasasvi Entrance Test. Boys and girls must meet the same eligibility standards.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST (YET) 2023

• Documents required for the PM YASASVI SCHEME 2023 are as follows:-
• Candidate must possess a class X passing certificate or a class VIII passing certificate.
• Candidate must possess an income certificate, as proof of parent’s income.
•  Identification card of the candidate, e.g. Aadhar card
• The applicant needs to possess at least one of the following certificates: Certificates for OBC/ EBC/ DNT SAR/NT/SNT, respectively.

HOW TO APPLY FOR PM YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST (YET) 2023

Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET) -2023 applications must only be submitted "online" using the following website: https://yet.nta.ac.in. A candidate may submit only one application. Multiple application forms submitted by a candidate, i.e., more than one application, will be rejected.

YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST (YET) 2023 – ADMIT CARDS

The Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET) 2023 admit cards will be made available on the application portal at the time set by NTA in due course. A few days before the Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET) exam, candidates and their parents may download their admit cards for free.

EXAMINATION CENTRE OF YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST (YET) 2023

The Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET) Admit Card provides the examination centre where each candidate must show up to take the selection test for the Yasasvi Entrance Test (YET). No candidate from another centre is allowed to appear. Change of centre requests won't be taken into consideration.
