NABARD ASSISTANT MANAGER IN GRADE A 2023 EXAMINATION PATTERN

 

The selection process for NABARD Assistant Manager Grade A Recruitment 2023 consists of 3 phases that applicants must carefully examine to qualify for the NABARD Grade A 2023 exam

 

  • Phase 1: Preliminary Online (Objective)Examination (200 Marks)  
  • Phase 2: Mains Online ( Mix of MCQ and descriptive pattern) Examination (200 Marks) 
  • Phase 3: Interview: 50 marks

 

NABARD GRADE A PHASE-I: PRELIMS EXAMINATION PATTERN

 

The applicants must be aware that a total of 120 minutes will be allotted for all of the exams combined. With the exception of English, the paper will be bilingual. Also, keep in mind that some sections are for qualifying and others are for merit. Note that only the marks earned in the merit portion will be taken into account for the candidates.

 

i) Qualifying Part – Test of Reasoning, English Language, Computer Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude & Decision Making 

 

ii) Merit Part – General Awareness, Economic & Social Issues (with focus on Rural India), Agriculture & Rural Development with Emphasis on Rural India.

NABARD GRADE A PHASE-II: MAINS EXAMINATION PATTERN

 

Only those applicants who pass the preliminary examination will be eligible for the main round. See here for the post-wise mains exam schedule. The main Examination will be online and will be a mix of MCQ and descriptive patterns.

NABARD GRADE A PHASE-III: INTERVIEW

 

Candidates who pass the Phase-II Exam and get an appropriate merit rank will be shortlisted for an interview.

 

Marks for Interview: 25 Marks

 

You will be penalized if you mark incorrect responses. In both Phase I and Phase II, you will be penalized with a 1/4th mark reduction for each incorrect answer you marked.

 

All NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A question papers (apart from for the English test) will be set bilingually in Hindi and English.

 

The NABARD Assistant Manager in Grade A Preliminary Examination is just qualifying and serves as a screening test. Candidates who qualify and rank sufficiently high as determined by NABARD will be invited to take the Main Examination.

 

NABARD GRADE A Cut-offs in Phase-I and Phase-II may be applied in two stages -


(i) On scores in individual tests,
(ii) On Total Score


Because the vacancies are identified by discipline, a merit list of candidates for each stage will be prepared by discipline.
