Bank of Maharashtra Credit Officer Eligibility Criteria 2023

 

Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria in terms of nationality, age restriction, and educational background in order to apply for the Bank of Maharashtra Credit Officer exam 2023.

 

Nationality : A candidate must be :
   (i) a citizen of India, or
   (ii) a subject of Bhutan, or
   (iii) a subject of Nepal, or
   (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came over to India before the 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
   (v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African Countries of Kenya, UgaBank of Maharashtra , the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.


As long as the candidate falls under category (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) above, they must be someone in whose favour a certificate of eligibility has been given by the Government of India. A candidate in whose case a certificate of eligibility is necessary may be admitted to the examination/ interview conducted by the Bank but on final selection the offer of appointment may be given only after the Government of India has issued the necessary eligibility certificate to him

Bachelor’s Degree from a University/ Institute with a minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD) marks aggregate in all years/ semesters recognized by the Government of India or its Regulatory bodies. 

Professional Qualifications (Compulsory), anyone: MBA (Full time) preferably in Banking / Finance / Banking & Finance / Marketing / Forex / etc.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a public/private/foreign bank or financial institution.

Credit Officer Scale III

Bachelor’s Degree from a University/ Institute with minimum 60% (55% for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD) marks aggregate in all years/ semesters recognized by Government of India or its Regulatory bodies.

Professional Qualifications (Compulsory), any one: MBA (Full time) preferably in Banking / Finance / Banking & Finance / Marketing / Forex / etc. Minimum 3 years of Post qualification work experience in Officer cadre in the field of Credit in Scheduled Commercial Banks/ Financial Institutions/ NBFCs.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a public/private/foreign bank or financial institution, with at least 4 years of experience as a Branch Head or in a similar position.

 

Bank of Maharashtra Credit Officer 2023– Selection Procedure

 

The selection Procedure for the Bank of Maharashtra recruitment consists of three stages:

 

  • Online Examination: The candidates will have to appear for an online examination to be conducted through a recruitment agency. The successful candidates will be called for an interview.
  • Interview: The candidates who qualify in the online examination will be called for an interview. The interview will be conducted to assess the candidate's personality, communication skills, and knowledge of the subject.
  • Document Verification: The candidates who clear the interview will be required to produce the original documents for verification.
